Cinnamon Peach Chutney

This recipe is a simple sweet jam with a little warming spice that can be an easy addition to breads, whole grains, or mix with yogurt and fresh berries. Enjoy!

1 peach, farm fresh, local

1 cinnamon stick

2 Tbs. apple juice, Martinelli’s brand preferred

½ cup of turbinado sugar

pinch of salt, Himalayan preferred

Wash and slice the peach, cutting it into ¼ inch pieces. Place the cinnamon stick in a saucepan over medium low flame, dry toasting until it becomes fragrant. Add the peach chunks and a pinch of salt, and lower the flame, and mix in the sugar and apple juice. You can also substitute white grape juice for the apple juice.

Enjoy!
